This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Tensorway LLC collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to this website and to the professional services we provide to our clients.
Who We Are
Tensorway LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of New Mexico, United States. We provide data extraction, data integration and automation engineering services to business clients.
For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Tensorway LLC is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Our registered address is:
- Tensorway LLC
- 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States
- Email: info@tensorway.net
Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need in order to answer enquiries, deliver our services and meet our legal obligations. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not buy personal information from data brokers.
Contact form submissions
When you submit the form on our contact page, we receive the name you enter, your email address, the company name if you choose to give one, the service you select, and the content of your message. These fields are used to identify you and to reply to your enquiry.
Business correspondence
If you email us or become a client, we process the content of that correspondence, including project requirements, technical details you choose to share, and any attachments you send us. Client project files are handled under the confidentiality terms of our engagement.
Payment information
Invoices are paid through a third-party payment provider. Card numbers, bank account numbers and similar payment credentials are entered directly with that provider and are processed by them. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. We do receive and retain transaction records such as the invoice number, amount, currency, payment status, date, and the billing name and address supplied for the invoice.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard technical log data when a page is requested, including the IP address making the request, the browser user agent string, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs are generated automatically and are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing technical faults.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking scripts. Any cookie set is strictly necessary for the site to function, such as a short-lived token used to protect the contact form against automated abuse. Because we do not run non-essential cookies, no consent banner is presented.
Why We Use It
- To read and reply to enquiries sent through our contact form or by email.
- To scope, quote, deliver and support the services a client has engaged us for.
- To issue invoices, take payment, and keep accurate accounting records.
- To maintain the security and availability of our website and systems.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims where necessary.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked to hear from us.
Legal Bases (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — processing needed to prepare a quote, deliver an engagement, provide support, and invoice for the work.
- Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries, keeping records of our correspondence, and protecting our website and systems against misuse. We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.
- Consent — where you voluntarily send us information through the contact form. You may withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete the message.
- Legal obligation — retaining invoices, tax records and other documents that applicable law requires us to keep.
Third Parties We Share With
We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent, trade or otherwise disclose it for anyone else’s marketing purposes.
We share limited information with service providers who help us operate the business. Each of them acts on our instructions and is bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection terms:
- Payment processing — Stripe processes card payments and stores payment credentials on our behalf. Stripe receives the billing details and transaction data needed to complete a payment.
- Email provider — our email host stores and delivers the correspondence we exchange with you.
- Website hosting — our hosting provider stores this website and generates the server logs described above.
- Professional advisers — accountants and, where necessary, legal counsel, who process invoice and correspondence records under a duty of confidentiality.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a valid legal request from a competent authority, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International Transfers
Tensorway LLC is established in the United States, and our service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.
Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, as incorporated into our agreements with the relevant provider. You can request further information about these safeguards using the contact details below.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to hold it:
- Contact form messages — retained for 24 months from the date of the message, then deleted, unless the enquiry becomes a client engagement.
- Client correspondence and project records — retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as needed to support the delivered work and to handle any contractual or legal claim.
- Invoices and accounting records — retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.
- Server logs — retained by our hosting provider on a short rolling window, typically no longer than 30 days.
When a retention period ends, information is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal information and receive a copy of it.
- Rectification — have inaccurate information corrected and incomplete information completed.
- Erasure — ask us to delete information where we no longer have a valid reason to keep it.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your information while a dispute about it is resolved.
- Objection — object to processing that we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.
- Portability — receive information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller where technically feasible.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out beforehand.
- Complain — lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, or with the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@tensorway.net. We respond within one month of receiving a request and may ask you for information needed to verify your identity. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
Your Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to:
- Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
- Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions such as records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
Send California requests to info@tensorway.net. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures that are appropriate to the size of our business and the sensitivity of the information we hold. These include encryption in transit for our website and email, access limited to the people who need it for the work, multi-factor authentication on business accounts, and credential handling practices that keep client system access separate from our own.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information and is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority as required by applicable law.
Children
Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. When we do, we revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be communicated to affected clients by email.
